I hope this email finds you well. I am emailing to update you on the construction program for Terriers Farm, which is due to commence Monday 26th April.
We have sent the attached letter to the nearest neighbours, and I attach for you and the Parishes for information.
We have created a project website (https://terriersfarm.commonplace.is/) which we hope the community will find useful. We will be updating this regularly with upcoming works as well as sharing some photos of the build periodically which some may find interesting. If there is something the Parish would feel useful to be on the website, please let me know.
A few things that I would like to bring to your attention (which are contained in the letter):
A Construction Traffic Management Plan was part of the planning application process. Access to the site will be off the B1051 utilising an existing farm access. There will be traffic management measures in place that will be utilised when heavy traffic is arriving at or leaving the site.
A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order has been received from Essex County Council to reduce the speed to 30mph for about 200m either side of this entrance for the safety of the public and the workforce during the construction period.
There will be an average of 10 heavy vehicle movements to and from the site on a daily basis. That will range from 2 on quieter days and up to 15 on busier days. The busier days will be predominantly when the solar panels are being delivered to the site.
Public Rights of Way
A public right of way goes through the middle of the site and another public right of way runs along the southern boundary of the site. Both of these will remain open and accessible throughout the construction period.
Should you wish to contact the project team during the construction period there are multiple ways to do so. These are:
Note for any emergencies, contact details are posted at the site entrance.
