MINUTES OF MEETING
Held 19th August 2021 @ 8pm at Gt Sampford Village Hall

JW read letter from a member of the public.
  1. 134  To receive apologies of absence

  2. 135  To receive declaration of interest regarding items on Agenda
    None declared
  3. 136  To approve Minutes from the last meeting
    Minutes approved
  4. 137  Matters arising
    1. 137.1  Traffic control light not working on the bridge Nothing further to report on this.
    2. 137.2  Play area
      Have moved no further with the funding. Recived no costs yet for replacement equipment. EB to provide Rospa report to WB.

    3. 137.3  Dogbins
      No complaints since last meeting.

    4. 137.4  HoweLane-quietroad
      JW wrote to resident of Sparepenny Lane explaining the situation. The PC only received 9 emails in support of the quiet lane status. JW asked to perhaps distribute leaflets then present to the PC. Also to speack to people outside of Howe Lane such as the livery yards. GS happy to help deliver leaflets.

    5. 137.5  Phonebox
      This is still outstanding, due back March 22. Due to the recent burning of hay bales the PC are concerned about future attacks on the phone box. To consider a lock and fire extinguisher mounted inside.

    6. 137.6  VillageHall
      We are still in the process of dealing with this. WP is willing to help and the cleaner will be starting to clean again.

    7. 137.7  OverhanginghedgesMoorEndtoChurch
      To put a notice on the Sampford Signal to ask residents concerned to cut back

hedges, to allow a pushchair to pass.

    CB has already actioned this
  2. 137.9  Car speed check update
    It has been agreed to look into a community speed check - SB to action
